Steel-Line Garage Sectional/Panellift Door Nylon Hinge No.3

The number 3 hinge holds the roller in place and connects the third panel to the fourth panel from the ground. It is also commonly used on all internal vertical frame sections. The easiest way to identify which hinge you need is to check the number stamped on your existing hinge — hinges are typically stamped from 1 to 7, with numbers 1 through 3 being the most common.

This is a replacement hinge designed for older Steel-Line sectional garage doors.

These hinges are embossed with a number 1, 2, 3, or 4, depending on which panel they belong to for the immediate left and right hinges. There are also centre hinges, which may have very small numbers stamped on them, but those numbers are not relevant for selecting the correct hinge.

Please choose carefully. While hinges may look similar at first glance, the hole centres for the roller shaft differ by about 5-6mm between each panel. Fitting the wrong hinge will cause your door to bind or scrape along the front surface.
